"Human felicity...

...is produced not so much by great pieces of good fortune that seldom happen, as by little advantages that occur every day." -Benjamin Franklin

"Live all you can; it's a mistake not to. It doesn't so much matter what you do in particular, so long as you have your life. If you haven't had that what have you had? . . . What one loses one loses; make no mistake about that . . . The right time is any time that one is still so lucky as to have . . . . Live!" -Henry James

"Nothing can bring you peace but yourself." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

"We have no more right to consume happiness without producing it than to consume wealth without producing it." -George Bernard Shaw

I didn't finish...

But I put the canvases on the wall anyway. Here's the continuation of what I started before:

Give Away!

I got this from my very great cousin-in-law. Thanks for the great idea Ellie!

Lucky you! The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me, Amanda! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It'll be done this year. (might be a little while)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be.
5- I reserve the right to do something extremely strange.

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

I'm putting this on both of my blogs, so it will be the first five on both blogs combined, not the first five on each blog. That would be too much stuff to give away. But go ahead and sign up for it! It's way fun, and who doesn't like free stuff?

New Favorite

Ingrid Michaelson is my new favorite. I haven't purchased the CDs yet, but I've been listening to her on Pandora for a few weeks now. A little folky and very fun, she's the perfect thing to listen to all day at work. I haven't gotten sick of it yet, and I don't plan on growing tired of her for a long time. I think I'll be buying these albums from itunes soon- I have a Christmas gift card to use.

Anyway, check her out on YouTube or Pandora, or something like that. If you're anything like me, you won't be dissappointed.
